The local newspaper published my letter (and some others) about the Roe v. Wade anniversary and the stupid demonstrations around women's clinics. One thing I mentioned was that it makes no sense to teach children that "abortion kills babies" when they don't know where babies come from.

In another letter, some man -- you know it would be a man -- referred to a "terrorist masquerading as a doctor, wielding a scalpel poised to deal a lethal blow to a doomed unborn child."

Picturesque writing, sure. But...a scalpel? To perform a simple abortion? Sounds as if there are some adults who don't know where babies come from either.
